Seismometer(Earthquake Measuring Device)

A seismometer is a device that reacts to ground movements, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and eruptions. Seismometers are usually combined with a timing device and a recording device to produce a seismograph.
A device used to detect and record earthquakes. Generally, it has a mass attached to a fixed base. During an earthquake, the base moves and does not mass. The base speed is usually changed to electrical voltage with respect to mass. Electrical voltage is recorded on paper, magnetic tape, or any other recording medium. This record is proportional to the speed of the seismic mass relative to the Earth, but can be mathematically converted into a record of the absolute speed of the ground. Seismograph usually refers to the seismometer and its recording device as a unit.

Earthquake  Scale(Richter magnitude scale)

The Richter Scale - also known as the Richter Magnitude Scale or Richter's Magnitude Scale - is a measure of earthquake strength, developed by Charles F. Richter and presented in his Landmark 1935 paper, where he called it the "Magnet Scale "Said.
